Troy Cocco, representing Mount Pleasant Track Club and Wando High in South Carolina, won the men's 17-18 javelin throw with a sixth-round effort of 204-8 (62.39m) at the USATF National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships at Sacramento State. Cocco, entering his senior year, boasts a personal-best 207-9 (63.32m) from the 94th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in March.
